Musée des Confluences 86 quai Perrache - 69002 Lyon 2ème

Designed and produced by the Musée des Confluences, the exhibition will present the collection of François Chladiuk, among other things. Hailing from Brussels and fascinated by the Far West, he owns a unique set of Lakota dress from the Indian village that was set up in Brussels for the 1935 World's Fair, a legacy of the Wild West shows, including the famous Buffalo Bill’s Wild West, which toured America and then Europe between 1882 and 1912.
Revealing how the caricatural image of the Indian nations was built, the exhibition aims to allow the expression of these communities, which remain marginalised to this day.
