affiche La Terre en héritage, du Néolithique à nous

The exhibition searches for the origins of our environment's exploitation in the Neolithic, a period that profoundly changed our relationship with the natural world and other living beings. As they settled down during this period, humans began to lay the foundations of a new relationship of domination over nature.

Domestication of plants and animals, housing, transport, production and consumption: for each of these topics, you will travel back through time to identify key moments in modern history when environmental changes on an unprecedented scale began to appear, leading to the advent of a new geological epoch – the Anthropocene.

Exhibition co-produced with the National Institute for Preventive Archaeological Research (Inrap)
