Located on the banks of the Rhône, the convivial living spaces of the InterContinental Lyon - Hôtel Dieu will offer a rich experience, with:
> 114 rooms;
> 30 suites and duplexes, including a Presidential Suite with powder pink shades highlighted by silk and floral patterns. This suite looks out over the Grand Dôme, a monumental and majestic architectural feature;
> a club lounge;
> a restaurant with terrace in the garden;
> a bar in the Grand Dôme, a unique space and a symbol of the Hôtel-Dieu;
> a 1500 m² conference centre, with nine bright and spacious banquet and conference rooms, as well as a 426 m² plenary room.

Following major renovation works carried out in conjunction with ABF (Architectes de Bâtiments de France), the InterContinental Lyon – Hôtel-Dieu will open in June 2019.
This five-star hotel will be located in one of the Presqu’île district’s most history-filled and iconic buildings, which was Lyon’s first hospital in the twelfth century: the Hôtel-Dieu.

This exceptional site, on the banks of the Rhône, manages to combine both grandness and intimacy, monumentality and a human touch. Soon, travellers from around the world will be able to discover 114 rooms and 30 suites offering superb luxury and an interior designed by Jean-Philippe Nuel, a huge name in the high-end hotel sector. His aim is to modernise, by creating a new identity, while respecting the building’s heritage value. The impressive 32-metre-high Soufflot dome will be home to the hotel’s bar. It will also feature a restaurant with terrace in the garden, a club lounge and a 1500 m² conference centre (with nine meeting rooms and a 465 m² plenary room).
The ambition of the InterContinental Lyon – Hôtel-Dieu is to become a new home for the inimitable French art of living.
