For thousands of years, epidemics have affected human societies and other animal species worldwide. Drawing on medicine and ethnographic collections, natural history specimens and contemporary artworks, the exhibition invites us to see epidemics as not just a biological phenomenon but a social one too, in a world where human, animal and environmental health are linked.

An exhibition by the Musée des Confluences based on an original concept from the National Museum of Natural History, Smithsonian Institution, Washington
