Every day has its market!

Going to the market is an experience. It is the experience of exploring colours and smells, choosing fresh fruit and vegetables, sourced directly from producers, as well as cheese and meat from the farm…

Last updated date : 14/12/2022

It is the simple, delicious pleasure of inhaling the scents of summer melons and strawberries, autumn mushrooms, aromatic herbs, and freshly picked flowers, or sampling a morsel of cheese or saucisson by the stall… Perhaps, above all else, it is the pleasure of a shared experience.

Beyond the experience it offers, it is also a sustainable approach in keeping with the times, encouraging shoppers to buy local, fresh and seasonal produce.

There is a market where you can go to fill your basket with fresh farm produce every day of the week in Lyon.

Isabelle

Isabelle, our editor born and bred in Lyon! She was born in Sainte-Foy-lès-Lyon in fact, studied in Lyon and now lives here. Territorial? Absolutely not! She loves travelling, widening her horizons, meeting new people and enjoys a change of scenery (without snow, if possible). Isabelle is curious and a people person, two attributes that often go hand in hand! Her favourite colour is green and her motto "a day without laughter is a day wasted!"
