“Yaafa? You Are A Falafel Addict!” They raised the bar high with this claim but, for a number of years, Yaafa has hit the mark, to the delight of the folk of Lyon.
You guessed it, they serve falafels (fried and crispy to perfection) in a sandwich or pita bread. The home-made drinks (lemonade and iced tea) are delicious and refills are free. In winter, the soups are excellent, as is the Lebanese tabbouleh in summer.
In both locations in Lyon, the food is reasonably priced and can be eaten in or taken away. What's more, the team is young and friendly. This is a great little eatery any time of the day, for a quick, fresh and healthy (all-vegetarian) meal.
