Lyon's hotel bars with a view

To enjoy an incredible panoramic view,  ascend the 32 floors (using the lift of course) of the Part-Dieu tower (affectionately called 'Le Crayon', or 'the pencil' by locals) and take a seat in the Celest Bar to enjoy a cocktail or glass of champagne.

In the Presqu’île district, Le Melhor, the bar of the Sofitel and the Michelin-starred restaurant Aux 3 Dômes, offers a superb view over the left bank and the Rhône.

Prefer a cosy ambiance?

Head for "Côté Bellecour" at Le Royal: a red velvet and glossy black interior, dotted with welcoming armchairs, and cocktail menus to die for. And it's next to Place Bellecour!
Another option to consider: the Bar du Carlton, for cocktails and champagne in an intimate setting. These are ideal places for a quiet chat, but remember, whatever is said in the bar stays in the bar!
