Smart destination?
For me, a smart destination is a destination which is innovative, a destination which is daring, and which is always involved in new initiatives. But it’s also a destination which is responsible and aware of environmental issues.
Your Smart action?
Unisoap is the first French organisation to recycle hotel soap. We are committed to more sustainable and inclusive tourism. Because the aim is to cut hotel waste, by collecting used bars of soap and giving them to disadvantaged people, in France and beyond.
Unisoap already works with more than 70 hotels in France, and we have collected more than 2 tonnes of soap. Our recycling centre is in Lyon, but we operate all over France.
Your favorite spot?
The place I’m most fond of in Lyon is the banks of the river Saône - they’re a great place to get some exercise and enjoy nature. Or simply for the water, because that represents life.
