Explore the metropolitan area’s walking paths

The metropolitan area is criss-crossed with walking paths that are suitable for all levels and reveal a rich variety of landscapes. These paths are listed by FFRandonnée (French Hiking Federation) and the Greater Lyon website.

Join an organised hike in the metropolitan area

Lastly, if you would like to share an experience with other walkers, you can take part in one of the hikes organised in the metropolitan area. FFRandonnée Rhône and Greater Lyon have published a calendar of hikes in the Lyon metropolitan area and the department of the Rhône. 
There are no less than 150 countryside walks to be discovered in the Rhône, for regular or occasional walkers (in French).
