Festival International Quais du Polar 2018

At the Quais du Polar International Festival, choose the books that you dream of getting signed by your favourite authors.

It's not an easy choice though! The festival features 120 authors from all over the world, including Harlan Coben, Camilla Läckberg or Deon Meyer. The Holy Grail will therefore be the signings. They add a little something special to the novels which have kept you up all night in the past. Meet the authors and hear them ask you: "What is your name?" It's perfect! To recover from these exciting encounters and also add to your enjoyment, flit between talks, concert films, blind tests and exhibitions.

Of course, there is also the essential "Grande enquete urbaine" (Big urban investigation): a tightly-plotted Italian-style story of revenge. Your first mission will be to go to the Centre d'Histoire de la Résistance et de la Déportation (Resistance and Deportation History Centre) to get your booklet. This valuable document contains the evidence needed to solve the mystery. You will have until 7 p.m. on Saturday and 4.30 p.m. on Sunday to try to win the big prize!

Make the most of it and check out the programme to plan your ideal days. Have fun and happy reading !!

Collector's original visuals and voice have made it a big hit in Lyon. It offers locals a different view of their city: more modern, more urban, and even a little offbeat. In just a few years, this guide has become the repertoire of “places to be”. It opens doors to somewhat secret worlds – just the way we like them in Lyon. The cover image is evidence enough, featuring the world of Nathalie Rives, bursting with personality, and her gallery.

Virginie

Virginie comes from Corsica. "We can't all be born in Lyon…" as they say. But our lovely city is now under her skin (although her beloved island remains firmly anchored in her heart).
