Rich of an important religious, architectural and natural heritage, the town is home to the birthplace of the Curé d' Ars, beautiful houses from the 16th and 18th centuries as well as a military fort from the 19th century.

Situated in the north-western part of the agglomeration, Dardilly has two village centres (the Bourg and the Barriot) situated on the heights and an economic zone below along the A6. The city consists of some 173 ha of deciduous forests, 500 ha of natural areas and 646 ha of agricultural land.

Several walking routes will take you to discover the exceptional site of the Serres and Planche valleys.
