La Taverne Gutenberg
Creative café-galerie
A creative laboratory and cultural catalyst, the Taverne Gutenberg opened at the end of 2015.
Originally intended to be pop-up establishment, the Taverne became a café-gallery which prides itself as being a place for meeting, exchange, creation and displaying art.
Located in a disused building in the Guillotière district, the Taverne hosts collective exhibitions, where every corner of the former bedrooms and rooms is covered with frescos and installations of all types.
The association that owns the project currently has more than 9000 members, 200 exhibiting artists and 15 resident artists.
The Taverne has a bright future ahead of it!
The first thing you notice about Camille when you see her in the morning is her ready smile. Then you rapidly realise that although she looks very gentle, she is also amazingly efficient and insatiably curious. The very essence of a compulsive tester: nothing escapes her watchful eye. Not a single venue, festival or wardrobe sale, especially those that take place in her own neck of the woods on the slopes! You may even come across her and her little 4-year old, who accompanies her on most of her exploratory journeys!
