The Equita show covers a space of 140,000 m² (twice the size of Place Bellecour), entirely devoted to horses.
In addition to the traditional dressage, obstacle-jumping and horse-driving competitions, the show is putting the spotlight on youth by hosting the FEI European Reining Championship for Young Riders and Juniors. This Western horse-riding discipline is based on the games played by cowboys once their work is done!
There is also fun for the little ones with pony rides and the Marino educational farm in the children’s village.
But that’s not all: the horse and motorcycle riders of the French Republican Guard, which normally accompany personalities, will be at Eurexpo-Lyon on the 2nd and 3rd of November, with a new, artistic horse-riding show. It promises to be a treat for horse-lovers and a chance for all to discover the diversity and creativity of horse-riding!
Equita is one of the highlights of the autumn season.
