Nine fine Beaujolais wines will be on the menu in the nine districts of Lyon! Dominique Piron has given himself the challenge of ‘’reconquering’’ the city of Lyon: “It is a major international city, which we love; we want it to become our stronghold, our capital.”
The aim is to highlight the variety of Beaujolais wines in Lyon. These wines that are often found on tables in Lyon will take centre stage. A full programme of events to tantalise your taste buds will be held in more than a hundred venues throughout the city, offering an opportunity to discover Beaujolais wines with food and wine pairings, special menus, musical concepts, meetings, guest wine makers and more.
Let yourself be guided by this whirlwind of flavours, while ‘Bande de gourmands’, a “modern epicurean collective”, will add its final touch.
The Printemps des Beaujolais is all about conviviality, the French Art of Living, cuisine, gastronomy, bistronomy, local supply chains, sharing, terroir, modern artisanship and Beaujonomy.
